The 2010 date for the CUFF Cancer Headshaving event has been announced. The date will be Friday August 13, 2010 at 6:30 pm on the noth end of The Church Street Market Place.
CUFF Cancer is a non-profit organization whose primary mission is to raise funds and awareness for cancer related causes with a focus on support programs for children. Our head shaving event has been specifically a fundraiser for Camp Ta-Kum-Ta, affiliated with Children’s Oncology Camping Association International (COCA), involving public safety professionals who collects funds and in turn have their heads shaved by barbers and/or cosmetologists assisted by the children who attend the local camp.
C.U.F.F. Cancer has been a rewarding program for us and encourage all to participate and/or contribute in some way.
A BIG CUFF Cancer thank you to Kris Magnant and the folks at Madison handbags for all your hard work at the Cuff’em and Bag’em event. A job well done!
